Set in the heart of the city, the purpose built Manchester Dental Education and Conference Centre provides a versatile and sophisticated venue for conferences, Training Seminars, Meetings and Exhibitions.

The MANDEC Auditorium

A tiered and fully air-conditioned Lecture Theatre with seating for up to 120 delegates. The theatre is equipped with an integrated audio-visual management system incorporating data, DVD, video and 35mm slide projection facilities. A touch style control panel enables easy switching between sources and there are audio/visual links to the Skills/Seminar room. Our built-in induction-loop system assists those with hearing impairment.
Seminar Rooms
[click on image for larger view] Two smartly furnished seminar rooms, which can be converted into one large meeting room, offer maximum flexibility for formal meetings or syndicate groups. Rooms are equipped with 35mm slide, video and overhead projection, screen, flipchart and pens. On request, an XGA data projector, laptop, DVD and visual presenter are available for hire.
The MANDEC Dining Room/Foyer
Where delegates can sample excellent cuisine in a relaxed but impressive environment. When used as a Foyer this area can accommodate up to ten exhibitors and is ideal for exhibitions, product launches and promotions.
Skills Classroom
To enhance our first-class Conference facilities, MANDEC boasts a uniquely versatile Skills classroom with superb dental “hands-on” facilities for up to 24 delegates.
With 16 Patient Simulators and 8 Technical Workstations, the classroom provides for the simulated use of new dental procedures and materials and offers a truly impressive environment in which all members of the dental team can receive continuing Education.

Organisers of non-dental “hands-on” training courses can rest assured that the multipurpose nature of the Classroom enables practical training to be carried out with ease.
Wireless connection to the internet is available throughout the Centre.
